Getting ready for winter and putting tire chains on my Cat 262C skid steer.
Never had to run chains durning a snow season on my 773G turbo skid-steer. I've loaded 10 wheelers, stacked, pushed, salted and even pulled a couple trucks out in both wet and compacted snow. Skid Steer Tire Chains provide enhanced traction and stability on icy, snowy, or muddy surfaces. put chains on the front for loading manure in the dirt when it gets greasy. Put chains on the back for pushing snow. Makes a huge difference. You can actually get something done. Paid 5 for a set to fit 14 x 17.5 tires last year I plan on using my bobcat to plow my paved driveway which is a little hilly. I figured that I would need a set of snow chains due to the hill. Do you guys who use chains put them on all four wheels or can I get away with two wheels? Do you recommend a certain type of chain for pavement or a certain place to buy them from?
