They make a Bolt on rock head (BOHR) for all of them and they are heavy enough to handle it. They chew through tree roots and old fence posts. Danuser augers would be fine too. Really anything from Danuser is good, but, really compare that Bobcat digger before you throw money down.

(I dig lots of 6'deep by 36 inch diameter holes--it takes a good auger and a big skid to do them). I own because I dig many holes each week for my clients and I also sub out to others. I have had a redneck style auger that clamped to the cutting edge of the bucket on my old 722 Bobcat. It was a old Danauser pto style that I modified years ago. I think the old skidder is about used up and I never liked how the auger was far away from me and the way I made it, it was always swinging around when I had to drive any distance.
