Trying to figure out something about skid steer quick attach mounting plates. There are two sets of holes in the bottom of the bucket side attach plate. Why is this? The only "universal" quick attach is the skid steer type (bobcat) Others have "proprietary" quick attaches that are pin mounts - Deere, Kubota, ATI etc. The only major downside to the skid steer quick attach is the weight which shouldn't be a problem for your machine. As a discussion, a Skid Steer is designed to operate a very robust set of arms along with quite a number of equally robust attachments. Hence the (standardised?) Skid Steer Quick Attach [SSQA] is designed to to be equally robust & heavier. A FEL is designed, as an optional attachment to a tractor (and each brand has there own design), to lift. SSQA or Skid Steer Quick Attach was developed by Bobcat for use with skid steers. It became public domain here a while back, so everybody except John Deere uses it as the quick attach method on tractors now as well. JD uses a proprietary method on some of their tractors, but is slowly coming around.
BTW, I like the true SSQA better than the JD proprietary quick attach system. My neighbor has the JD system on his tractor, and as a result, we cannot share attachments. The SSQA is more universal, so a greater chance you can swap equipment between other tractors. There are literally 1000's of implements that will hook up to a skid steer quick attach vs the limited number for the J deere system. I really feel somewhere down the line you will be looking at a implement thats not offered in the deere style and regret going in that direction.
