I assume based on the post that the drive motors can leak oil into the case.Another leak on the Bobcat 751. This time luckily it was just a loose fitting. The Bucket Tilt spool seals were leaking so I replace them both. Front and Back. Complete and refilled with oil. 30 minutes of operation and the Lift spool seals blew (Backside ). There's a small hole in the center of them and one started shooting a stream of oil out of it. Anyone familiar with these and what it might be? Thanks!
The drive motor may or may not be ok. If changing the filter doesn't change anything, you can swap the motors from side to side to see if the problem fallows. Here is a link to the parts catalog:

Complete and refilled with oil. 30 minutes of operation and the Lift spool seals blew (Backside). I know now, that when you replace one set, you should go ahead and replace both. Completed the lift seal replacement.Hydraulic motor or drive pump failure - Repair or replace faulty component. Hydraulic oil cooler is plugged - Clean the cooling fins. Drive system is overloaded - Reduce loading.
I got a bobcat 751 a few months back and shortly thereafter blew out the case drain line connected to the right drive motor. I replaced that and got maybe two days of work then blew the top big hose on that same right drive motor. Any thoughts on what could be causing this ?
A user posted a problem with a Bobcat 751 that stopped working after a leak and a grinding noise. Another user suggested checking the belt drive and the pump, which solved the issue.Unexpected setback though, ended up replacing only a total of 3 seals, rest are old, because some of the seals in the kit did not match. Luckily 3 seals were all it took it fixed the problem :).
