It is a well used 2 speed machine with almost 6000 hours, but the owner claims no leaks (which I will verify in person), the two drive motors, aux pump and lots of seals have been replaced along with new pins and bushings in the bucket.
Later we talked to a local equipment jockey who sells a lot of skid loaders and he said the cabs on those loaders are poorly grounded and you can help these types of things by running a ground wire from the frame to the cab. I am working on a JD 260 Skid Steer for a friend,,,,, What happens is,,,,, Everything is fine with this except when you release park brake switch, the alternator gauge will drop into the red,,,, apply the brake and comes back up,,,,, it locks and released just fine but,, wondering if park brake solenoid is drawing so much juice, that the alternator cannot keep .
