Also another good feature of the Cat is the reach it has ( with the bucket angled down). I loved the ASV system that bolted on in place of the tires on a wheeled skid steer. Sometimes hard to get on and off, but way tougher than the wheels and the tracks that CAT made. C series machines had a reputation for sluggish controls. If you got out of a 277B and got in a 277C, it was really hard to adapt. If you had never run a pilot operated machine, it wasn't that noticeable.
