Post hole auger is a money maker. I charge .00 a hole 250 min. With the large yards out here, jobs with hundreds of holes are not uncommon. Easy money even in the rocky ground here. Preparator is a rock rake that has been a main stay for almost 15 years for me. Great money maker, very important to my operation. Concrete breaker. We do a lot of small lots here on Vancouver island, most lots run from .07 to .25 acres within the city so full sized skid isn't really always practical. It seemed like the cleanup and damage the bobcat or mini ex would do, along with tight spots that still needed hand work anyway wasn't really worth it to get a machine in.

I think the technology on the Bobcats is the best by far but if you want a machine that is powerful, easy to use, and easy to maintain the caterpillars seems to outlast the other companies. I see more cats at construction sites than any other skid steer. I have 2 of the Cat 297D2 XHP's on tracks and they are awesome. They kick butt Vermeer has spent a great deal of money on perfecting the controls for the s600TX and s800TX and this is where I see them having a small edge over the ditch witch.
