As someone looking to add a skid steer on a modest budget to the farm, I've found several Mustang's in my price range but I'm leary based on lack of positive reviews. I have the option to buy, I think its a 1995 model Mustang 960. Things I've noticed so far is that it is dirty, meaning no signs of maintenance on this machine for years. I'm thinking about getting a mustang 2032 skid loader, is the mustand brand any good? do they have more/less problems then gehl or bobcat or john deere etc? I just got done looking around, it seems that the mustang 2109 and Gehl 7810are pretty much the same machine with similar reliability issues. Sounds like there is always something small breaking on them.

Excellent machine, very dependable. I bought mine when it was 3 years old and the hour meter said 3200 some odd hours and hasnt worked the whole time i've had it.

Just wondering if people have experience operating these skids? What controls are used on these machines? Are parts readily available? I have attached a picture of the one Im looking at.
