In my experience Takeuchi approaches sales with a more "bare bones" style vs the "bells and whistles" style that Bobcat employs. That is to say that, in my opinion, the machines are more focused on practical application than comfort and cutting edge features (i.e. heated . Based on availability of local support, cost and financing, I've narrowed the field to include the Cat 299C, Bobcat T320, and Takeuchi TL250. The selected machine will include the manufacturer's forestry cab options, with sealed operator compartment and A/C, hydraulic quick connect and high-flow pump. We're looking for a newer model used skid steer. Never owned one before but have ran a few Cats. What models and brands does everyone like? We want a mid size one that will lift at least a ton. Will probably get one with enclosed cab, two speed, and aux hydraulics. Heavily leaning toward a Cat 242- 256 2013 or newer. TIA

Looking at used rubber tracked skid steers. Ran across a couple that I am interested in. Takeuchi TL140/ 1400+-hrs and a Cat 267B less than 1000hrs. What is the good bad and ugly of these units. I have only been around rubber tired Bobcats in the past. Will use it on a grapple, pallet fork and light dirt work. TL140 has 80hp and 2spd.
