If the price seems really good its because they know what they have and are trying to unload it. The L555 in my opinion would be worth fixing before taking the plunge on the Deere. We have always had almost all John Deere equipment, so yes, we "bleed green". BUT, I did not like the Deere skid loader we had. Lots of power, very capable machine. Extremely hard to get in and out of the tiny, cramped cab, extremely hard effort required to push the control sticks.my arms would literally be sore after a few hours.
